15/2/06 Become a member of Team Fields!!

Hey there,

We've just discovered this wicked thing whereby friends and fans of the band can help to spread the word about Fields. Basically you need to register at www.ukundercurrent.com - (here's what they say about themselves) -

"UK Undercurrent is a community of music lovers working to promote their favourite artists at club nights, gigs, online and through a host of other projects.
If you want to earn gig tickets, CDs and signed and rare merch from the bands on the roster list in return for getting involved, join the UK Undercurrent now!"

They will be adding Fields to their roster soon, at which point it would be great for people to join up. In return we will be making sure we sort out people who join with exclusive stuff and parties and the like.

Go have a look. (apologies if we are not in the roster yet, we should be in a couple of days!)

Thanks all!!

13/2/06 Editors 4 Fields 4 eva!

Howdy Pardners,

Great News(if you live in Glasgow,Newcastle or Brum)! That cowboy agent of ours has come through for us and we ve landed a few gigs with King's Heath's mightiest band Editors!
We will be be moistening up the early arrivals on the following dates..

1st March Glasgow Barrowlands
2nd March Newcastle Academy
3rd March Birmingham Academy

fucking wicked or what?
It turn out Editors live in the very house that Nick from Fields lived in when he was a B13 resident.
Aside from that there are a few other on-off gigs in London coming up-feel free to turn up and get crunked with us.

9/2/06 We have a booking agent! Go Team Fields!

Hello you great galahs!

bits of news...

Firstly Team Fields have a new 'full band' and picture on our profile.nice huh?now u can gaze upon our godlike visages while listening to the tunes.we ll try to put more up when we have them-if we re feeling brave we ll have Hightower and Hen up front next time(although they seem to like the mystique attached to being the out-of-focus guys in the background)

btw-the pic was taken by Roger Sargeant who famously did the Libertines record covers.it was lovely Sargo that took the seminal shot of the two bad boy singers on the front of their self titled 2nd record.

We cant wait to start the Spinto Band tour although we re sad that tony transit our usual man van combo wont be driving us.we ll miss his stories about thai brothels and his uncoventional head gear.

So from Team Fields to the one and only T.T. we want wish him a big "Safe!"for 2006.

Also, did we mention we now have an agent!!that means our manager will no longer be turning up backstage at other bands shows offering to 'gimp' for them in return for support gigs.

His name is Charlie and he books a few smalltime bands with silly names like Radiohead,Interpol,Sigur Ros and The Magic Numbers.

He seems to be a bit of a cowboy by all acounts but we ll give this young buck a go-he s the kind of maverick that we at Team Fields like to take a chance on...you never know.

if you want to book us for your cousins barmitzvah or the local morris dancing tournament then you can get hold of Charlie via [email protected]

HOLLA!
